I have a five year old daughter that has not seen her biological father since she was a year old. She knows nthing about him. I have been married to a wonderful man now for three years and this is the person she calls daddy. She knows nothing different. We are now going through the adoption process to make everything legal and had to track down her biological father as a result. Now he wants to see her. I do not know what to do. We want to be honest with her so she has no resentment towards us later. How do I drop this on her & when is the right age. She is so smart. My husband & I also have a son together. I don't want her to feel any less loved or abandoned. Please help me. I just do not know how to handle this the right way.
