Groups will be co-led by two peer facilitators, one LGBTQ transracial adoptive parent and one transracially-adopted adult.
We envision this first group as part of an ongoing partnership between three great non-profits:
Each of the groups will be give LGBTQ parents an opportunity to
explore their feelings about transracial adoptive parenting in a safe
and nurturing setting. Group members will receive peer support and
education around how to addresses their family's issues in
developmentally appropriate ways.
