Christmas gift suggestions for adoptive family?

Not sure how close you are to them, and for me that sort of dictates what might be appropriate. But I’m more than happy to share what I do with my son’s family.
I always bring them Christmas cookies (the same ones I grew up eating). I sort of like my son’s family is starting to partake in the same traditions that I grew up with, even if it’s something as simple as the kind of cookies they have.
I also this year bought a wooden box and then transferred pictures of my son with them onto it – I used pictures from visits I had with them. It was pretty easy to do and turned out really cute. I figured it was nice to celebrate our interactions in some way. Plus I like to make them something – it feels more my style and they know I put time and thought into it even if it didn’t cost a lot.
