My daughter and I found each other on facebook. We go days without talking on facebook.I cant stop thinking about her and only when I stop getting on facebook it makes things easier for me. I tried to get her phone number but she ignored me. She sounds happy when we do talk. Im afraid if i quit getting on facebook to see if she messaged me ill loose her.
Our relationship exists only on Facebook and it scares me. Advice?

its tough to know what to say. my kids were adopted when they were 11 and 12 and after so many many years wondering how they are doing. its hard.well i finally found them and added them on face book. and my son ran away to be with me, and then my daughters well it took one a year after she turned 18 to trust me and contact me.the other well she took alot longer.u have to build yr trust. not in just words. tell her all about yr life and never lie.do not push for her number. if and only if she wants it she will ask. u have to rember she doesnt know u from adam.and its gonna take a long time to befriend her to where she trusts u as a person cas in her mind yr not her mother yet…and its hard for me to type every thing here trust me i know i have been thru this exact same thing.. email if u wish.we can talk more.
